Welcome to my site! Here are some things I've worked on:
The goal
The goal of this project was to leverage search engine optimization (SEO) to drive organic user sign-ups by building high-value design tools around keywords with known high search volume. Rather than relying solely on traditional content marketing, the strategy focused on creating useful and interactive utilities that designers were already actively searching for. By aligning product functionality with strong SEO opportunities, the goal was to attract organic traffic, provide immediate value, and convert users through these products.
What I did
To execute this strategy, I developed design tools that balanced mathematical precision with aesthetic usability. I drew from my background as a designer and developer, to use algorithms, color representations and color theory to build these tools. For example, I built an image-based palette generator that was optimized to run in logarithmic time (O(log n)), ensuring efficient performance even when processing large images with complex transformations. This allowed users to generate accurate, harmonious palettes instantly without performance lag.For other computationally intensive operations, I implemented web workers to offload heavy processing from the main thread. By moving expensive calculations into background threads, I significantly improved responsiveness and preserved a smooth user experience. This architectural decision ensured that interactions such as live previews, dynamic adjustments, and algorithmic recalculations felt seamless, even on lower-powered devices. In addition to the technical implementation, I synthesized user research and survey insights to design what became a “collectively subjective” palette generator. Instead of relying purely on rigid color theory rules, the tool incorporated aggregated user preferences and real-world design heuristics. This blend of algorithmic structure and human-centered input produced palettes that felt both mathematically sound and aesthetically appealing, increasing user satisfaction and repeat engagement.
Outcomes
Within the first six months, the initiative drove a 5,000% increase in total page views from logged-out users, reflecting substantial organic growth fueled by SEO. More importantly, the tools converted traffic into measurable business impact, generating upwards of 10,000 new sign-ups per month directly from organic search. By combining technical performance, user-centered design, and search-driven strategy, the project successfully transformed high-volume queries into sustained product growth.Check out Figma!
